Rising Tide is a cooperative business dedicated to being a trusted community-based resource for high quality, natural, sustainable foods and goods.
We’re open every day from 8 am – 8 pm.
Everyone is welcome!
Member-owners, it’s time for our annual elections! Every year, the Board of Directors asks for your input on candidates to serve on RT’s Board and recipients for our Co-ops for Community Day donations. All current member-owners should receive a mailed ballot by the end of the first full week in April, and you can also access ballots and election information here. Ballots need to be returned to Rising Tide by Sunday, May 10.
If you’d like to take part in this democratic process at our co-op, but you’re not yet a member-owner, join today and start cooperating with us! We’d love to have you.
Regardless of age, income, education or party affiliation, multiple polls show that most Americans want GMOs to be labeled. Right now, Congress is debating a proposed law that would block mandatory GMO labeling. Learn more here and make your voice heard.
Gardeners: this year we’re again offering a preorder of Rebel Hill Farm’s medicinal and culinary perennial plants. Mail in your order and payment directly to the farm, and pick up your plants at Rising Tide on Saturday, May 16. Click here to download the order form.
You know we have a LOT of local suppliers – everything from produce to body care products. But what does that look like? Check out our new Maine suppliers map and find out!
One of the things we love about working with so many great Maine businesses is developing mutually beneficial relationships over time and helping our member-owners and customers engage with the local food movement.
This map is a work in progress, so let us know what you think! We’ll be adding more suppliers and more information (like which of a company’s products we carry) in the coming weeks. As always, if there are local products you want to see on our shelves, let us know!
