THE HIRING PROCESS AT RISING TIDE

Thank you for your interest in working at Rising Tide Community Market. We are a member-owned consumer co-op with a serious responsibility to serve our owners and community, and our goal is to be the friendliest store in town. We look for reliable staff that are:
- Customer service superstars
- Willing to learn the natural food business
- Able to take personal responsibility for their work area
- Interested in having fun while working hard
Below are some frequently asked questions.
Where can I find out what positions Rising Tide is hiring for? We post all open positions at the store, and on our website. We may post openings on other websites as well, such as craigslist.
What if there are no open positions? Can I still apply? We accept applications at all times.
How long do you keep my application? Can I apply again? Your application will be active for 90 days. You are welcome to submit another application at any time. If you are interested in an open position and it has been more than 90 days since you applied, please submit a new application.
What happens after I apply? First, our General Manager & Department Manager review the applications. When there are open positions, selected candidates will have an interview with the Department Manager. Then you may be invited to a second interview if necessary. Finally, the hiring manager selects the right person to join the Rising Tide Team!
Can I talk to the hiring manager for the position? Out of respect for the workload our managers carry to serve our owners and community, we allow only those who are selected for an interview to speak with the hiring manager about our open positions.
