Hi there,

Glad you enjoyed the link. From the information on Weaver's Way's website I see that their farm is a non-profit organization so I do not believe the volunteers would be compensated.

This link was intended to provide examples of other co-ops with farms. Rising Tide would not necessarily be an exact copy of any of these examples.

I followed the link from the RT web site to the Weavers Way coop web site and just watched the great little documentary that’s about their farms.
Thru out the video (Great Video by the way…) they mention the Volunteers and how much work they do to get the produce to market. Ok, maybe this is not the place for this question but here it is… How do the “volunteers” get compensated? Do they get compensated by way of produce? What’s going on there. The volunteers seem to do 95% of the work!

If this is not the forum for this Question please pardon me.

Hi, Love your web site. Suggest you add a section on your history. Did you begin in the 1970's as a pre-order? I seem to remember doing a pick up of flour for Good Tern in 1980 from rising tide at the Round Top Farm. Thank you for your good work, Be well, Leslie Hyde, St George, ME
